This Durham remodel transformed a dated shower into a sleek, spa-like retreat. The design centered on clean lines, quality materials, and everyday functionality — all wrapped in a modern, timeless aesthetic.
We removed the original fiberglass surround and installed full-height porcelain tile with bullnose trim for a refined finish. A herringbone tile floor adds visual texture and slip resistance, while the double niche provides practical, built-in storage without breaking up the flow of the tile. Client also requested heated floors, and we delivered.
A frameless glass enclosure gives the space an open, airy feel, highlighting the chrome diverter valve system that controls both a wall-mounted sprayer and a handheld wand. With thoughtful upgrades and a focus on long-term durability, this project delivers both comfort and craftsmanship in equal measure.
