A tiled shower from us costs $14,000, $16,000 or $18,000, depending on the package. The number is the whole job: tear-out, waterproofing, tile, the valve and trim, grout and the glass door. It does not move unless you change the scope.
A tub-to-shower conversion is priced with the same three packages. The only extra is plumbing work if the drain has to move. If you want the vanity, floor and paint done at the same time, that is a full bathroom remodel, and most of those land between $20,000 and $35,000.

Every package is a real tile shower on a Schluter waterproofing system. The difference is the tile selection and the extras. Most people pick The Signature.

Not in the package
Moving the drain on a tub-to-shower conversion. A sliding door instead of a hinged one. Anything outside the shower: a new vanity, a tile floor, paint, lighting. Add those and it becomes a full bathroom remodel, with its own line-item quote.
Everything else, including what we find behind the wall, is handled the same way: we stop, show you, and get your approval before going further.
The difference

The Refresh uses the basic selection, the Signature the mid-grade one, the Luxe Spa the premium one. The labor to set it is the same at every tier, so tile moves the number less than most people expect.

One niche or corner shelf and one fixture in the Refresh. Two niches or one oversized niche, and two fixtures, in the Signature and the Luxe Spa.

An accent strip in the Signature. A full accent wall in the Luxe Spa.

The Luxe Spa adds a corner bench, LED niche lighting and soundproof insulation in the walls.

The Refresh and Signature come with a clear glass door. The Luxe Spa comes with a frameless enclosure. A sliding door costs a little more on any package.

The one extra on a tub-to-shower conversion. If the new drain cannot stay near the old one, the plumbing work is quoted on top of the package, before we start.
Comparing quotes
Ask whether it is tile or an acrylic insert. An insert is a molded shell glued over the walls. It is faster and cheaper, and it is not what we build.
Ask what is under the tile. Tile and grout are not waterproof on their own. A shower built without a proper membrane can look fine for a few years and then rot the framing behind it. Every one of ours goes on a Schluter system, and it is in the price.
Ask whether the glass is included and whether the number is fixed. Both of ours are.
Timeline
Tile is done in 3 to 4 days. The glass is measured once the tile is finished and installed about 1.5 to 2 weeks later. Only the shower is out of use; sinks, toilets and laundry keep working. How long a remodel takes walks through every stage.

You choose from a selection we keep with suppliers we trust, from white subway to large-format porcelain and patterned floor tile. Keeping to that selection is what lets us hold the price and the schedule. If you have something specific in mind, ask and we will tell you whether it works.
Real tile, every time. We do not install acrylic inserts or plastic wall panels.
No. You get one number before the job starts. If something changes, usually something behind a wall nobody could see, we tell you right away and get your approval before going further.
