Fiberglass surround replaced with a floor-to-ceiling porcelain tile shower, heated floor, double niche and frameless glass

This Durham shower started as a dated fiberglass surround. We pulled it out, rebuilt the alcove on a Schluter pan with waterproof backer board, and tiled it floor to ceiling in gray porcelain with bullnose trim. The floor is a small mosaic for grip, with a square drain. A double niche holds the bottles without breaking up the tile, and the client asked for a heated floor, so that went in too.

Fixtures are Delta chrome: a rain head on the wall, a handheld wand, and a diverter valve to run either one. A frameless glass enclosure keeps the whole thing open.
